Flying Probe: Better, faster, more!
With the APT1600FD, we now offer you significantly higher test coverage and test speed. Test our new range of services!
Since the introduction of the TAKAYA Flying Probe technology in 2007, we have continuously adapted our systems to the increasing complexity of electronic assemblies. Thanks to our investment in the latest TAKAYA generation this year, the APT1600FD, we have been able to significantly increase our testing speed and improve our test coverage.
Thanks to the advanced TAKAYA technology with simultaneous double-sided tests and 6+4 "flying needles" on the top and bottom of the PCB, we also achieve a significant reduction in test and set-up times. The use of signature analysis and automated board handling in magazine-to-magazine operation further reduces throughput times.
The high-precision mechanics with 10 flying probes enable gentle contacting of the smallest contact points and therefore also cover very complex structures where no test points are provided. With comprehensive instrumentation and flexible testing procedures for active and passive components, including optical testing and on-board programming, we increase both accuracy and test coverage.
The automated test program creation from CAD data allows cost-effective testing from the very first assembly, while our Merlin pro software solution ensures quick adjustments during the development phase. This leads to considerable time savings and reduces testing costs, especially for small batch sizes and a high variety of variants.
In short: Our Flying Probe Test Service offers you a comprehensive and needs-based service from the creation of the test program to the execution of functional tests and the provision of the test results in the ETO cloud. See for yourself: Test our new testing qualities!
